Institutions


The activities of the energy sector in Kenya are entrenched into Kenya Laws by an Act of Parliament. The Energy Act 2006 provides the regulatory framework and guidance as well as key roles of the institutions involved in the energy sector.

Refinery for crude oil. 50% owned by the government and 50% by private investors.
